As a Manager of Accounting at Industrial Media, Meron supports the finance team with day to day accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, closing process, reconciliation, review of the general ledger activities and trial balances for accuracy. She leads the quarterly management meetings for aspects of the company’s hit show franchises AMERICAN IDOL and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Merons outward facing role has her preparing and analyzing accounting statements for our partners profit participants including Dick Clark Productions, Fremantle Media, and FOX. Meron also works closely with the shows production accountants, artist managers and record labels to track expectations of revenue movements as well as liaise with domestic and international territories to resolve any discrepancies.
Prior to joining Industrial Media in 2016, Meron held a Senior Financial Analyst role at Paramount Pictures where she supported the home entrainment team. Meron started her career in entertainment industries as a Financial Analyst at NBCUniversal with E! Entertainment division where she grew the love for TV and film production.
Born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Meron moved to Los Angeles in her senior year of high school and made LA home ever since. She loves to dine and travel around the world with her husband and enjoys the company of her puppy Bella.
